The Brief

The client was seeking a high-spec, characterful carport solution with enclosed bays for vehicle storage, using quality materials that would complement their rural Berkshire property. A natural timber aesthetic with durable finishes was key to the brief.

Our Role

This was a supply-only project. We provided the complete oak frame kit, custom-designed to the client’s specifications, along with:

• Two-bay green oak frame with traditional pegged joints
• Oak external cladding for all sides
• Three bespoke iroko garage doors (two front-facing, one side access)
• Cedar shingle roofing package

All components were pre-prepared for ease of installation, ensuring the client and their chosen contractors could assemble with confidence.

Outcome

The completed carport stands as a statement of quality and traditional design. The combination of oak and iroko delivers a warm, high-end feel, while the cedar shingle roof adds a rustic elegance. Though we weren’t involved in the installation, the precise detailing and fit of the supplied materials ensured a smooth build process and a beautiful end result.
