Our client approached us looking for a stylish, durable, and timeless solution for secure parking and improved entryway aesthetics. The vision was to blend natural materials with the character of their existing property while ensuring the structure was practical and built to last.

Our Role

While the client opted to use their own planning consultants, electrician, and landscapers, we took the lead on all other aspects of the project, ensuring a smooth and efficient build process. Our in-house team handled:

• Bespoke design of the oak frame carport and porch
• Groundworks and foundations
• Timber sourcing and precision joinery
• Full frame assembly and roofing
• Project management and liaison with the client’s external contractors

Design & Build Highlights

• Oak Frame Construction: Crafted from sustainably sourced green oak, the two-bay carport features traditional mortise and tenon joinery, with curved braces and chamfered edges for a classic finish.
• Tiled Roof: A hand-laid pitched roof using clay tiles was chosen to complement the main house and add durability.
• Porch Addition: The oak porch was designed to mirror the carport style, featuring matching timber details and creating a cohesive look across the property frontage.
• Attention to Detail: We ensured seamless integration between our works and those of the client’s planners, electrician, and landscaping team.

The completed project is a striking yet sympathetic addition to the property.
