The Brief

The client wanted to extend their current oak garage with a single additional bay to accommodate a second vehicle. It was important that the new structure mirrored the original in both aesthetic and build quality, maintaining the character of the property.

Our Role

We were responsible for the design, supply, and installation of the oak frame, ensuring a perfect fit with the existing garage. Once the frame was in place, the client took over the remainder of the works, managing cladding, roofing, and finishes independently.

Our scope included:

• Bespoke oak frame extension, designed to tie in with the existing building
• On-site frame assembly and fitting by our team
• Coordination with the client to ensure structural alignment and aesthetic continuity

• Traditional Oak Frame Construction: Featuring classic mortise and tenon joints and hand-finished detailing
• Integrated Design: Proportions, pitch, and joinery mirrored from the existing structure for a seamless extension
• Versatile Use: While primarily designed for vehicle protection, the open bay also offers flexible use for storage or workspace
